You must first fill out a Property Maintenance Report Form (available on this site or at the Township Office). After the form is submitted to the Township, the property will be examined and it will be determined if there is a violation. Note: Grass must be at least 10" in height to be in violation.

The Township maintains several park areas with pavilions however the only pavilion that is rented is the one located at the A. Herr Park on Nissley Road. Forms are available in the forms and application section of the website.

Unfortunately the answer is yes, trash and recycling fees would apply. There are over 7000 trash/recycling pick-ups in the Township throughout the week which makes tracking individual property pickup difficult for special situations.
Curbside appliance/tire pick up will take place during the first full week of April and November of each year. The apropriate tag must be purchased at the Township Office and placed on the item on your normal trash day during either of these weeks. You may also dispose of them anytime at Lancaster County Solid Waste Management for a fee.

Yes. We give residents the opportunity for a discount if the yearly bill is paid in full by the due date in January of each year. Contact our billing department for more information.
